CAVOS Funding Advice Service
CAVOS now has a new funding service that will be available to all community & voluntary sector groups and organisations.
We can now offer the following:
- Funder Finder—to help you identify which funders will fund your ideas.
- Information guides on how to develop an idea into a project
- Training on a range of funding topics—see the Training Programme
- Information on Funders
- Information on how to apply for funding
- An easily accessible file of popular local funders, with guidelines and applications forms readily available for you to take away.
- Funding bulletins—email
- A resource library of funding books for you to browse
- Informed staff who can help you find the information you’re looking for, and help you get on your feet with funding.

CAVOS now has unlimited access to the ‘Groups in Need’ Funder Finder programme. By entering the specifications of your group, we are able to search a database of thousands of trusts and funders to find one that fits.
Whether you need funding for a national organisation, local group, a building, a vehicle or simply for running costs, CAVOS can save you the hassle of trawling through guidelines to find something that suits. This is an excellent tool if you're looking for a quick and easy way to find a funder. We even have a range of up-to-date funding guides, allowing you to find out more about the funders that Funder Finder selects for you.
Becoming a member of CAVOS
If your organisation is not already a member of CAVOS then you may wish to consider it.
Membership is FREE and there are many benefits to being a member including:

- CRB checks at a reduced cost
- Development support
- Priority places on training courses

- If we receive any information that we feel would benefit your group, we will send it to you as a priority.

- Only member groups may borrow from our library, our books include many very helpful funding texts.
