CAVOS Seminar Programme

Could you be a CAVOS Trustee?
There are currently places on the CAVOS Board for Trustees who are from our member organisations. We also have places to co-opt Trustees who are not part of a group or organisation but have specialist knowledge that can support the work of CAVOS. All Trustees must work toward acheiving the aims and objectives of our organisation and will be fully supported to do this. CAVOS is currently in the process of contacting new groups in Sedgefield Borough to find out what their support needs are and how CAVOS can help them. If you are, or know of, a new group in the Borough let us know and we will provide a range of information on the support that CAVOS can provide.

Would You Benefit From Some Support?
CAVOS is all too aware of the burden placed on volunteer management committees who employ staff. This is not an easy task and we want to help you to understand your responsibilities as employers and support you as much as we can. We would like to develop a support group to help volunteer management committees deal with this important issue. This will be an informal group to support you in your role.
