CAVOS Community Fair 2010
11th June 2010 @ Spennymoor Leisure CentreDue to the popularity of our 2009 Networking Event & Funder's Fair, we decided to run our 2010 event on a bigger scale with even more stalls and more going on. The Community Fair was a great opportunity to network with other groups, talk to some of the North East’s top funders face-to-face and find out about local volunteering opportunities.

CAVOS Theatre Night
8th March 2010 @ Eden Theatre, Bishop Auckland Town HallThis well attended event was held in conjunction with Safe Durham Partnership and 2D. The event was a production of ‘Not in My Name’, a play depicting the community impact of a terror attack in a northern town and ending with a structured interactive discussion
CAVOS Christmas Celebration Event 2009
16th December @ Spennymoor Leisure CentreThe event included live entertainment from Tearaways Youth Theatre Group, hot food, disco and networking opportunities. 6 'Special Achievement' Awards and one 'Organisation of the Year' Award were presented

5th November @ Spennymoor Town HallThis event was a great opportunity to find out what we did with the feedback you gave us last year. It was an excellent opportunity to give your views on a range of topics and find out what CAVOS will be doing in 2010.

4th September @ Dean Bank Literary InstituteAs well as the CAVOS official business, the AGM included handy 'top tips', lunch, cream tea and entertainment from Former World Champion Spoons Player Bert Draycott!

CAVOS Networking Event & Funders Fair
1st May 2009 @ Spennymoor Town HallThis event was a great opportunity to network with other groups & talk to some of the North East’s top funders face-to-face including BIG Lottery & Co. Durham Foundation. The ‘market style’ layout allowed groups to set up their own stalls among the funders
CAVOS ‘Voice for the VCS’ Event
12th March 2009 @ Shildon Civic HallThis event offered a fantastic opportunity to find out more about the new local Government structures and how we can input into them. There was also the chance to ask questions and network with other groups.
CAVOS Christmas Celebration Event
10th December 2008 @ Spennymoor Leisure CentreThe event included live entertainment, buffet, disco and networking opportunities. Awards were presented to the groups and organisations that had particular success and accessed support from the CAVOS Development Team since April 2008.
