Fishburn New Age Kurling Club during a recent competition in May 2012
The Club members travelled to Windsor to take part in the the New Age Kurling world Singles & Doubles Championships. Two couples made it through to the Doubles Quarter Finals and three couples made it to the Pairs Double quarter finals of the pairs consolation cup. In the singles world Championship four made it through to the last thirty-two and two to the last sixteen. In the singles consolation plate one made it to the last sixteen, two to the quarter finals, two to the semi finals and Carol Manton went on to win it.
